Primary Responsibilities

  • As part of a fast-growing and dynamic team, the candidate will work closely with the Head of Private Investments and the Investment Committee to support initiatives to expand RFO’s China deal flow and portfolio management.
  • Source investment opportunities and generate deal flow in China, with a focus on growth-stage and pre-IPO companies.
  • Manage and follow up on leads from corporates, investment banks, and intermediaries.
  • Maintain relationships and build networks with corporates, investment banks, and intermediaries to support ongoing origination.
  • Support financial and commercial due diligence, including coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Assist in transaction execution from initial screening through closing, including preparation of materials and coordination of approvals.
  • Travel within China for meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement as required.

 


 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or public markets investing, with strong interest in transitioning to private investments
  • Strong capabilities in deal evaluation, due diligence, and transaction execution
  • Solid financial analysis/valuation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills (corporates, banks, intermediaries)
  • Willingness to travel frequently in China
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
  • Candidate with more experience may be considered for Vice President (VP) level, subject to experience and fit.
